Sri Lanka will be happy with this effort. Their fielding was absolutely brilliant, with Kapugedera being the stand-out. The Indian batsmen all got off to starts but none converted them into big scores. The Indians decided to take the Batting power-play in the 18th over and that allowed Yusuf Pathan to open up. However, after he departed, India stuttered in the middle overs. Some lusty hitting from Ashwin helped India reach 268.
