Iconic batsman Sachin Tendulkar has become the latest celebrity to join Twitter and even here his followers, including Bollywood stars, expect him to break records.
Ever since Tendulkar tweeted ‘By the way this time it’s real me. No more wrong information…’, his page has been flooded with welcome messages from Bollywood stars and fellow athletes.
What’s more, they expect the batting legend, who has virtually all major batting records under his belt, to surpass Hollywood star Ashton Kutcher as the most followed person on twitter soon.
"The only record left for him to break is maximum number of followers. Welcome the one and only and my favourite Sachin Tendulkar," tweeted Deepika Padukone.
"Sachin Tendulkar is on Twitter. We want him to beat Ashton Kutcher hollow. Spread the word. Follow Sachin," said Riteish Deshmukh.
