Punjab School Education Board , PSEB, Mohali was established in 1969 under a legislative act of the Government of Punjab to conduct standardized exams in addition to conducting teacher training, administration of scholarships, and publishing of textbooks. The headquarters of the Board is in SAS Nagar (Mohali).
