Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010′s theme song, ‘Swagatham’, with the catch line, O Yaaro India Bula Liya was launched today at Gurgaon.Song for Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010 "Oh yaaro, yeh India bula liya" is today launched 5pm at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon, which is composed and sung by Oscar winning music maestro A.R. Rahman. The song titled ‘Swagatham‘ has lyrics ‘Yaaro, India bula liya’ is all about energy, winning and don’t give up.
Rahman will also perform the song during the Opening Ceremony of the Games of the Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi, on October 3.Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda were also present at the theme song launch function.
Suresh Kalmadi, Chairman of the Organising Committee for Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi on this occasion exhorted the city and the nation to welcome Delhi 2010 with open arms.
