Chief Minister of Bihar, Mr. Nitish Kumar has announced the recruitment of about 15000 police staff recruitment. 13000 constables and about 2000 sub-inspectors (SIs) would be recruited in 2010. In addition to this 12,000 special auxiliary police (SAP) would also be staffed. The CM Nitish Kumar told to the media that Bihar Police would also appoint the Junior Commissioned Officer in Bihar Police. Nitish Kumar is trying hard to change the law and order situation in the Bihar state.
