There will be no Test or Interview for selection of the candidates. The selection of candidates shall be as per merit based on the aggregate marks computed for 125 marks, i.e., up to a maximum of 100 for the O.G.P.A./ Traditional % of marks secured by them in their B.Sc. (Ag.) qualification, plus marks for seniority from the date of passing of the said qualification @ One mark per year up to a maximum of 10 marks, plus marks for experience if any in this department i.e., Agriculture Department

only as Agricultural Officer / Agricultural Consultants(ANTWA) and other schemes / M.P.E.Os on contract basis @ 1 mark for every completed period of 3 months experience up to a maximum of 15 marks for the Service rendered as on Jan 01, 2012. The service certificate issued by the concerned District Joint Director will only be considered and the certificates issued by any others will not be considered.

Mukherjee emphasises need to strengthen Self-help Groups movement

Hyderabad, July 20 (ANI): Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday emphasized the need to strengthen movement of Self-help Groups for financial inclusion so that small and marginal farmers could get access to higher doses of credit in taking out productive land based activities. 

Addressing a meeting of the Chief Ministers of South Zone States and Administrators of Union Territories (UTs) and Chairmen and Executive Directors of Banks in Hyderabad, Mukherjee said: "We have to use new technologies to make banking services available and within reach of rural people through the services of business correspondents, mobile banking, no-frill accounts etc."
