Staff Selection Commission Has published the Results for Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2008 (Scheme ‘A’) – Allocation of Departments /Organisations of the selected candidates for other departments – regarding. Result of the said examination was declared on 20.4.2010 wherein 22 candidates were selected for post of Assistants in Coast Guard HQrs, Department of Information and Technology and Directorate of Forensic Science. Keeping in view their rank numbers and availability of vacancies in the departments /organisations their allocation has been made as under:-

Staff Selection Commission(SSC) Invites Applications for the Recruitment of Accountant 2010.

Filling up the post of Accountant on Deputation in the Headquarters of the Staff Selection Commission at New Delhi

Accountant

No of vacancies : 01

Scale of pay : Rs.9300-34,800 plus grade pay Rs. 4200

Ministry/Department : Staff Selection Commission (HQ), New Delhi

Eligibility : UDCs of the CSCS with eight/ten years service in the Grade in parent cadre or Department : and who have undergone training in Cash and Accounts work in the ISTM or equivalent and possess three years experience of Cash, Accounts and Budget work failing which Officers under the Central Government.

Candidates who are eligible, willing and who can be spared may be sent to the undersigned below in the attached performa (Annexure-II) in duplicate by 4th October, 2010 along with their CR dossiers and a Certificate about the Vigilance Clearance. Applications received after the prescribed date or without CR dossiers will not be entertained.

The Estimates Committee of the Parliament, in its 47th Report (1967-68), recommended the setting up of a Service Selection Commission for conducting examinations for recruitment to lower categories of posts. Pursuant to this, and as an interim measure, an Examination Wing was initially added to the Secretariat Training School, subsequently renamed as the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM). Staff Selection Commission has published  the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2008.
