INTRODUCTION
The Jorhat Engineering College was instituted in 1960 by the Govt. of Assam. Jorhat Engineering College is one of the premier technical colleges in the northeastern area. Civil Engg., Computer Sc. and Engg., Electrical Engg., Instrumentation Engg., Mechanical Engg. and one three year post graduate course in Computer Application leading to the Master of Computer Application (M.C.A) Degre. The college maintains a good relationship with the leading Industrial Organizations of the region by extending consultancy services and through industry-institute interaction programs
