September 1st music themed event online through Apple’s industry-leading HTTP Live Streaming. This live streaming will be based on open standards. This live stream requires either a Mac, running Safari, on Mac OS, X version 10.6 Snow Leopard, an iPhone, or iPod Touch, running iOS 3.0 or higher, or an iPad.
Apple says that the stream is based on open standards, but you are required to have a Mac running Safari on Mac OS X 10.6. You can also watch the event on the iPhone, iPod touch and on the iPad.This broadcast is the property of Apple and is protected by US copyright law and international treaties.
