Orkut and Facebook are the most popular social networking sites in India so far. As we all know that Facebook has been ruling for a few months in India, but stats say something different. According to ComScore.com, Orkut is still the number one social networking website in India.
Google is not going to let Facebook win over its bastion so easily. Google is planning to launch mobile specific applications since the Indian users are gradually getting addicted to web browsing through their handsets.
